The Herald of Nengal wants you!

The real reason you should back Exhuming John Barleycorn, is that it is an exciting and dangerous adventure in an immersive Appalachian-inspired setting that you will enjoy reading and your players will look forward to playing. But if that's not good enough, here are some other things you might consider:

  1. New patron spells for the Nengal, “the Wild One!” The Chained Coffin introduced Nengal as the savage and primordial patron of the Shudder Mountains, but the patron spells were left to the game judge’s imagination. Those patron spells are now fully realized as an addendum to Exhuming John Barleycorn!

  2. Almost immediate delivery. As soon as possible after the campaign closes, we’ll be sending out the pdf version, followed soon thereafter by the print version. While you’re waiting for other Kickstarters to gather art and produce stretch goals, Exhuming John Barleycorn will be on your game table!

  3. New grammaree (folk magic). To help you create a uniquely Appalachian immersive experience for your players we are including new folk magic that can be learned by anyone!

  4. Metalic ink on the cover. When we commissioned Pittsburgh collage artist Rebecca Lefkowitz to do our cover with the flaming Wicker Man under the Barley Moon we asked her to do something a little bit special. With metallic ink behind the flames and the shining moon, this cover is going to pop right off your game table.

  5. Pledge early to guarantee the adventures keep coming! Please support the Kickstarter for Exhuming John Barleycorn! The Shudder Mountains is one of the best and most underserved campaign worlds for DCC. Your support allows us to write, playtest, buy art, edit, and publish great adventures!

Thank you!
